The LOW PROFILE QUADTRO SELECT cushion consists of interconnected air cells with a 5.5cm height. These cell have the capability to conform and adapt to the user’s body shape, mimicking the pressure redistribution properties of water. This conformity reduces the effects of friction and shear on tissue, which are the primary factors in pressure injury formation. It is is available is the same sizes as the High Profile Quadtro Select cushion and also has no user weight limit.
It is a lightweight cushion at only 1kg, you don’t have to worry about adding any unnecessary weight to your wheelchair. The lower cushion height of 5.5cm (High Profile – 10.8cm) makes the cushion perfect for use in the car or when a low seat height is required.
