Application of this device is recommended only when the fracture is stable and there are acceptable limits of angular and rotational deformity.
The frequency and duration of the use should be determined by your prescribing health care professional.
A – Loosen straps and remove liner from walker
B – Place Foot in liner and secure with contact closure. Make sure the heel fits snugly into the posterior portion of the liner. Fasten the foot flaps on the liner first. Wrap and fasten the leg position of the liner from bottom to top. Some trimming if the liner may be necessary to accomplish optimum fit.
C – Spread the uprights using both hands and step into boot, aligning uprights with midline of the ankle.
D – Secure walker straps at the toes and working up from the leg. Foam pads may be used for additional patient comfort at certain pre
